SoftPepper iPod Video Converter is an application that allows you to convert video from various formats such as AVI, MPEG, MPEG4, 3GPP, 3GPP2, DAT, MOV, WMV, ASF to iPod compatible files.
Features of the program include batch conversion to let you process multiple simultaneous files, the ability to trim video to convert only a clip or segment by (placing start and end points on a time line) and to take snapshots of movie scenes (with the help of a preview screen). Outputs are preset for iPod (320x240), iPod (640x480), or audio only (as MP3 files) with parameters like size, codec, audio, etc. but you can't control advanced settings by yourself.
It has a nice and intuitive interface with all the basic tools in a single window, and is recommended for basic users who want to convert videos or clips to play them on the go but don't need control of advanced settings or the possibility to edit output video.
